Lesson Planning

In previous years, teachers would sit down with their pencil and "plan book" and plan their classroom lessons.

Today, we can use creativity to design exciting and engaging interactive plans.

Just like a plan written in our plan book , an effective interactive lesson plan should include the following components.

Content Standards

Objectives and Goals

Anticipatory Set

Direct Instruction

Guided Practice

Closure

Independent Practice

Assessment and Follow-Up

Hands on Activity:

1. We are going to design a lesson for the interactive white board. This lesson must include the above components.

You may use one of your own lessons or choose one from: LearningtoGive

2. Save your lesson in the appropriate mimio folder located in the public drive.
